From Paris to Barcelona #tinkoffsaxo #dailystews

Spring time is here – even in Denmark!!!  although we don’t get to enjoy much of it home – because luckily we are on the road with the team :)

My new apprentice Rune and I have so far done Paris-Nice and Volta a Catalunya and tomorrow we head of to Volta Pais Basco, the tour of the basque country – one of my favorite places in Europe, personally I can’t wait to go back to Bilbao, such an awesome place.

This year I will try and keep up with the blog entries, but to write somewhat interesting content my brain should function right and enough sleep will be required, so therefore I will try and do a weekly blog entry (or more if I’m up for it!!!!) – and I hope that is alright with you.

Paris- Nice

First trip for Rune in the kitchen truck, The trip where it’s all about getting the routines settled, getting to know the kitchen and how it all works. For Rune it was a bomb of information and new impressions in a brand new world – but he did very good.

We started our trip with a small road trip from Copenhagen to a suburb out of Paris and then had a nights sleep and straight on to the shopping. Busy days as usual when you have to start up the truck from scratch, making sure everything is in order, filled up and working. I have now also become a certified dishwasher machine technician, taught over the phone – so from now on I can deal with the machine errors my self – Very proud!!!! So if anyone needs to change the intake of soap on a machine – you just call me ;)

Rune !

After Paris Nice, we went home for 5 days, to then go to Volta Catalunya – a race around the area of Barcelona. The weather was somewhat a mixed experience for the riders, so we even had snow during some stages… Crazy times!!!

Alberto ended up as no. 2 in the race, making him the no. 1 over all in the pro tour – AWESOMEEEEEE!!!!!!
